Why is the driver's window a special case?

It is operated constantly in scheduled service, has to stay tight in every weather and must not obstruct the view of mirrors and door areas. Available electromechanical, flush-mounted and in an insulated version, among others.

Typical application: MAN Lion's City, VDL Citea, Volvo, Heuliez, Plaxton Elite.

Who controls ventilation?

Sliding windows put ventilation in the passengers' hands without an opened sash protruding beyond the vehicle contour. In air-conditioned vehicles, fixed glazing and emergency exit windows come to the fore instead.

Driver protection

How does driver protection get into a bus?

As a glass driver protection system at the driver's workplace – including retrofitting of existing fleets. More than 4,000 driver workplaces are equipped with it.

Does this work for small series too?

Production is set up for customer-specific components, not catalogue goods. Small and large volumes run through the same design and the same test procedures.
